since the release of nightfall and the introduction of dervish, paragon and all the new skills, i was wondering what everyones favorite and least favorite professions are.

my favorites would have to be mesmer and assassin. mesmer for their their way of "messing" with what others do and assassins for their sheer speed and power.

my least favorite is probably paragon because in my opinion, they are just an unneeded class that doesnt serve too much of a purpose.

i dont want this post to be flamed, im just curious as to what the guild wars community thinks of some of their favorite and least favorite classes and why.

My two most favourite are the mesmer and ritualist.
They happen to be two of the least popular too.
Which is fine by me!

Next I would say ranger and then necromancer.

My two least favourite are dervish and paragon, because I haven't played them much yet!
Except for the super Me/D "mystic healer build II" arredondo posted a while ago. It is very powerful, but can be super hard to manage!
I guess I love them all when I try them.

my favorite profession would probably be ranger, simply because i love ranged attacks. In every mmorpg i love sitting back and doing damage

my least favorite profession would probably be ritualist, i dont like how reliable they are on spirits for some builds.

Favorites: Mesmer, Assassin(though I suck at them), Monk

Least Favorite: Warrior, Elementalist, Dervish.

Necromancer (always!) and rangers too.

Don't like the melee professions, but that's just my playing style.

Necro, monk, and paragon (in that order), but soon to change as I'm really having fun with the paragon. I've gained a new appreciation for mesmer, which is just as well considering I'm surrounded by them in my guild/alliance. They're very persuasive.

My least favourites are the dervish and warrior. Melee classes give me tunnel vision, and I'm just not the "charge into the fray" kind of gal.

Favorite: Mes (love the concetration it requires) or Warrior (Love the attention it requires to properly engage and maintain aggro with posititional control while balancing stances with the survival/heal skills that cancel them)

Least Favorite: Nec (Mainly consists tab-hex-tab-hex or raising minions - yawn)

) After that, Ranger & Warrior.

Least favorite (That I've played -I'm not gonna comment on professions I don't know about.): Elementalist. Just not my cup of tea. I'm just happy there are people out there who do like playing them!

least favorite, paragon, followed closely by ritualist.

introducing a strong class with no general counters, only narrow hard counters, wonderful.

Least Favorite: For now paragon, but I haven't played much with him yet.

Favorite: Ranger and Paragon, I prefer classes using range physical attacks.

Least: Probably Ritualist (not so much), at some point it gets boring using spirits most of the time.
